Album Release Poster Second Draft Changes

This is the second draft of my album release poster, I have taken the advice I have being given to me through my feedback by teacher and made the changes that were asked of me.

This is the first draft of my album release poster, as you can see from the images of my first draft I have changed many things about my album release poster. For example, I have changed the font type of my title because the one I had before did not conform to title conventions in the pop genre of music, also I have changed the colour of my title because I wanted the title to represent the emotions behind the creation of the album, so I used the colour red because some of the songs on the album have created by the artists experiences of love, so I used the colour red as it represents that feeling. Another thing I have changed layout of the poster, I wanted the artist to be the most dominant element of my poster so I have cleared away some of the text as it did not conform to conventions to have that much text on a poster, it has also helped my artist to be able to stand out more because he isn't hide under a lot of writing anymore. I have also changed the image of my album so that the title is the same as it is on the poster, because I wanted my  work has continuity in how it looks.

Feedback on First Draft of my Second Year Blogger

The feedback from teacher shows that I am not meeting the required standard that I should be meeting. In order to achieve the standard I need to I will have to improve my planning and research, my first drafts of my ancillary texts and my music video:

Planning and Research -

- I have already started to improve my planning and research, my teacher asked that of me that I take screenshots to show the examiner how I created something, she also asked that add more images too provide evidence of what I have being doing in order to show the examiner there is process to what I have been creating.

- What I have done which shows I have started to do this is showing evidence of me going out through filming and showing the locations I filmed, I took photos of where I filmed and posted them on my blogger, also posted the texts between me and my camera man which shows we have go out to film. I have also took screenshots of the process of making my products.

Album Release Poster -

- I need to change my image to one that offers a direct mode of address to the readers

- I also need to reduce the amount of text on it, because it is not conventional of an album release poster to have so much text

Digipak-

- My digipak is to text heavy at the top of the cover, so in order to combat this I could either reduce the size of my album title or make the image bigger so that in matches up in size against the title

Music Video-

- I need to have more costume changes so that it conform to conventions in pop music videos

- Make sure that lip syncing is in time with the lyrics of the song

- film in more locations that are conventional to pop music videos.
